Who is DEX QM Premium Lubricants?
There have been no spectacular developments in the world of lubricants for over 20 years. With a little extra "salt and pepper" (additives) it stops completely. However, after years of intensive R&D, the DEX QM technology has been developed, a technology that can take lubricants to a new and unprecedented level in terms of economic, operational and technical benefits and durability . Dex premium lubricants brings this QM technology exclusively to the market, first in the Netherlands and then the rest of the world. The number of users of Dex lubricants is now increasing very rapidly and to manage this demand, we are looking for new colleagues.
What are you going to do?
You will work to ensure the success of Dex Oil's products with new customers. These customers are mainly in the maritime and port sector. As the customer's Sales Engineer, you will ensure that the testing, start-up and full implementation of Dex's unique lubricant technology runs smoothly. During this process you will keep a finger on the pulse and act as a questioning/advisor for the technical and operational managers within the customer's organization. After the successful introduction, you are responsible for the ongoing relationship management during the further use of Dex's products within the customer's organization. During all these steps you are the point of contact for the customer who will help you with any questions they may have. Whereby on the one hand you provide the solution yourself, but where necessary you are also supported by high-quality tribological knowledge and laboratory capacities.
Together with the commercial director of Dex Oil you will also contribute to the further success of Dex Oil. A super interesting role for candidates with a good knowledge in the field of maintenance and management of engines and/or heavy equipment who want to develop themselves in a more customer-oriented way.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Who are you?
You have a technical education in the field of mechanical engineering or a similar technical education
5-10 years working experience in the field of maintenance of engines, hydraulics and/or gearboxes
You understand the customer, his technique and the problems he may encounter as well as the consequences of these and are able to deliver added value for your customer based on this knowledge. You see the added value of Dex's exclusive products and know how to guide new customers through the testing and introduction of Dex's lubricants.
You understand the world of equipment management, the need for efficiency (improvement), the increasing sustainability requirements and the consequences of unwanted downtime of large installations.
You have a good substantive technical knowledge and background in the field of maintenance of various equipment. You are a self-starter, entrepreneurial and customer-oriented and know how to communicate your technical knowledge well.
You are ready for the next step in your career and want to use your technical knowledge to work more commercially and use your knowledge and skills to make Dex and its products a success.
